DJ AM is gone. The well-known DJ was found dead at his Manhattan apartment on August 28, after dying of a drug overdose. A crack pipe, prescription pills and a half-empty bag of crack were found near his lifeless body at about 5:30 pm. Born Adam Goldstein, AM captured the hearts and souls of clubgoers everywhere, spinning all over the country with a dedication unsurpassed. But while he was a genius at his craft, Adam continued to struggle with a lifelong addiction to drugs, which ultimately ended his life at just 36 years old. He was sober for over a decade, but after a near-fatal plane crash last September, Adam got hooked on painkillers and that lead to him getting back into the hard stuff. “He was clean for a long time, but the crash sent him back over the edge,” a source says. “He couldn’t deal with the pain. Its so sad.” Adam will be missed by his millions of fans, as well as ex fiancé Nicole Richie and Mandy Moore. The actress, who has a tumultuous romance with girlfriend Samantha Ronson, had her house robbed and among the items stolen were over $2 million in jewels from XIV Karats. Now, the store wants their booty back! “They’ve disappeared. XIV are not happy about it. The jewels were in Lindsay’s care and they were only on a loaner, they were expected to be returned. Celine Dion is gonna be a mama – again. The 41-year old singer is expecting her second child with her manager and hubby Rene Angelili after  a series of fertility treatments with doctors in New York. “Celine and René are very happy,” her rep said in a statement. “They are crazy in love over the news … they are overjoyed.” And while she still has a ways to go, Celine is no stranger to large families – she was one of 14 growing up in Montreal. Sam Macelli is all grown up. Who’s The Boss star Alyssa Milano walked down the aisle this weekend, breaking the hearts of men raised in the 80′s everywhere! Alyssa, dressed in Vera Wang and holding a bouquet of lily of the valley flowers, walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of John Lennon’s Imagine at fiancée David Bugliari tied the knot at the groom’s family’s NJ estate. “We wanted a wedding that was reflective of who we are as a couple” says Milano, who calls meeting her husband in 2006 “a lovely gift.” After the ceremony, guests, including actor Bradley Cooper, sat on rattan furniture and used bales of hay as cocktail tables, with dinner served family style on rustic farmhouse tables. “My Italian family still eats Sunday dinner together every week,” says Milano. “We wanted to capture the same feeling with people passing around beautiful bowls of food and talking and laughing.” More daily gossip news!
