Karl Lagerfeld as a doll. Especially after going on his ultra-strict diet, Karl Lagerfeld is already like a walking, talking real-life caricature. But now Tokidoki is taking on the Kaiser of fashion with a mini-me doll version cast in silver and black. Italian artist Simone Legno, the guy behind the Tokidoki cartoons, will only be issuing 1,000 of these collector items and will be available at Tokidoki stores worldwide and then Colette in France for a month exclusively. If scrambling for one of the Karl dolls isn’t looking likely, there will also be Karl Lagerfeld x Tokidoki tees this coming Spring. Continue…

With nary a misstep and not a music-stopping-cop in sight, weeks of stress culminated into a successful FABRIC magazine launch event Saturday night. Battling Alexander Wang, Love magazine and Mac’s event at Milk Gas Station and Andre Balazs’ opening of the Boom-Boom room for air time, FABRIC magazine drew an beautiful and energy filled cocktail of people. DJ’s Harley Viera Newton and David Manuel kept the dance floor packed as revelers finished every drop of alcohol from our sponsors. Special thanks to Reece Barakat and Tonda for an amazing space, La Perla for providing everyone with new g-strings, SKYY vodka and Lini Lambrusco for generous alcohol contributions and of course Jurlique for making sure we still look fresh the next day even though we saw the sky turn bright Sunday morning.
