Karen Dalton was a member of the New York City Greenwich Village folk scene of the early 60s, best known for producing Bob Dylan. She has received high praise from her contemporaries such as Dylan who said, “My favorite singer in the place was Karen Dalton. Karen had a voice like Billie Holiday’s and played the guitar like Jimmy Reed,” and Fred Neil who added, “She sure can sing the shit out of the blues.” Continue…
