We read in WWD today that 19-year old Andrej Pejic is the latest androgynous “it” model. But it seems that Pejic, despite his tall drink of water blond good looks, may be as trendy as Lea T. or Martin Cohn before him. If three makes a trend, then we think 10 says that there’s more [...]

Looks like Brazilian model Jesus Luz isn’t content being known as Madonna’s boy toy. The Dolce & Gabbana house favorite is dabbling in film in the upcoming Spanish movie Not Alone directed by Alejandro Aboli. From the looks of this outtake, Luz may not be the only well-formed man on the scene. But male competition [...]

Being based in New York, we’re a bit spoiled with our libations. What, you didn’t use a real egg white in that whiskey sour?! Pfffttt.. But if authenticity is the case, then for our own New Year’s Eve recipes, we went straight to the source: Greg Seider’s newly released recipe collection. Seider, who owns Summit [...]

It’s a good thing fashion illustrator aleXsandro Palombo doesn’t live in NYC, because chances are the reigning queen of fashion Anna Wintour may not take kindly to the latest round of Humor Chic editions. The alleged ice queen is showcased in all kinds of compromising positions with “Doh!”, Mr. Homer Simpson. Although, we do have [...]

For those of us who aren’t out to tote designer logos, the brand-less bag can be something special. We of that tribe particularly pay attention to materials, construction, usability and of course design. That design-minded ethos is shared by Berlin-based Gretchen. The four-year old accessories line designed by Anne-Christin Hofmann offers updated patchwork leather hobos that [...]

It’s easy dressing models – who are hand selected for their off the rack figures – but dressing the smattering of diverse extras for Kings of Leon’s new music video “Pyro” was another matter. (There’s been quite the brouhaha over the casting call for the video that called for persons with deformities.) Sure enough stylist [...]

There are some rare creatives who inspire just as many of their contemporaries when they were alive and kicking as they do posthumously. Fashion photog Helmut Newton is known for his woman-power black and white shots (most notably of Nadja Auermann) and while his imagery evokes a certain type of ’80s empowerment, on closer inspection [...]

We were going through our overflowing inbox, when what do we see? Our own Bee-Shyuan Chang in a sexy Humor Chic illustration by aleXsandro Palombo with strawberries raining and boobage overflowing. Suffice it to say there was some blushing in the office today, but when the satire company includes Anna Wintour and Hillary Clinton, what’s [...]
