Now the runway regular is getting into editorial mode with this gorgeous “China Syndrom” shoot for German Vogue this month. Lensed by Alexi Lubomirski and styled by Christiane Arp, the cover and multi-page inside spread is lush with color. And no surprise there, Marc Jacob’s East-inflected Louis Vuitton Spring 2011 collection is prominently featured. Turns out March is Jablonski’s busy month. Just as we were slowly easing into 2011, the fashion mag world is already galloping towards February. And considering the Jan issues are usually woefully thin, it seems February is month where we have some interesting cover play. Yes it’s true Justin Bieber will be covering Vanity Fair with shirt unbuttoned (though you’ll have to peek inside the issue for that), but there’s also Gisele looking perfectly schoolgirl chic on the cover of Vogue China. Looks like Brazilian model Jesus Luz isn’t content being known as Madonna’s boy toy. The Dolce & Gabbana house favorite is dabbling in film in the upcoming Spanish movie Not Alone directed by Alejandro Aboli. From the looks of this outtake, Luz may not be the only well-formed man on the scene. But male competition aside, it’s tough to tell this early on whether the flick will be a bust or a well-timed Luz re-characterization. Maybelline has released early images of its 2011 calendar and though there isn’t famous nude bodies a la Pirelli, there are some gorgeous faces and stunning colors.  The girl power-inflected shots feature Maybelline favorite Julia Stegner and her long-legged crew (Erin Wasson, Emily DiDonato, Jessica White, Shu Pei, Lisalla Montenegro and Charlotte Kemp Muhl).
