With many in the art world across the pond for the Frieze art fair in London, it was an intimate but well-edited crowd that braved a rain-soaked evening last Thursday for the Steven Charles fete at Marlborough Gallery’s Glass Houses. Guests that included Dalia Oberlander, Chessy Wilson, Casey Fremont and William Heath took in the view from the lofty far west Chelsea space featuring, aptly, all glass windows with a sweeping view of the city and New Jersey. More than one guest noted how beautiful Jersey looked from afar. With the stellar view and atmosphere to spare, guests lingered over mojitos, wine and mini burgers. Not a shabby way to spend a rainy Thursday.
