For those of us not lucky enough to run off to the haute couture collections, find solace in fact that winter sales are as common as paint-splattered jeans in Lower East Side. We’ve been big admirers of Andrew Yang & The Kouklitas’ runway dolls since they launched for Fashion’s Night Out this past September. With their straight from the runway designer looks and handmade fashionable sulks, it’s dolls for the anti-Barbie set. Now the collectibles are available at a steep discount at Barneys. They’re still going for $499 a pop (down from $1,350), but at least we can dream of owning the whole set.
