After inciting some drama (of course) over his “I Love Anorexia” series, aleXsandro Palombo isn’t backing down. The pithy illustrator with the penchant for satire has unleashed more editions of his cover play. Ranging from Marge Simpson’s exoskeleton to Jessica Rabbit, all the ladies are shown clutching an apple. Somehow the poor fruit has become the war symbol for the calorie shedding clan. Whatever happened to the purely minded “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”?
