More similar to art than jewelry, Canadian designer Arielle de Pinto manipulates metal like fiber giving her pieces a uniquely organic feel. Using silver and gold vermeil metals De Pinto was chosen as a Gen Art’s ‘Fresh Faces of Fashion’ accessory designer of the year. Loose, unstructured and free Arielle breaks all boundaries between art and fashion and has begun using custom metal casts to create ornate hand carved figurines in her recent 2010 collection.
