The FABRIC team just landed in London! We’re especially looking forward to see how the city’s rich community of emerging designers translate Spring Summer 2010 trends for LFW. New York was heavy on the cut-outs, super short minis and a seasonless color palette with blacks, navies and browns playing along with the usual light neutral and pastel prints. We’re thinking as has been the per usual for the last few seasons, London’s designers are going to be offering up something unique and different. And getting a leg up on the design spirit are this year’s British Fashion Council’s Fashion Forward Winners Mario Schwab (Halston’s new man), Christopher Kane and Erdem.

The young designers join the ranks of previous winners including Giles Deacon and Roksanda Illincic. Since we’re fans of all three, we’re happy to see the young designers get the support and attention they deserve. Here is a selection of the designers’ works.
