How else do you accessorize the Little Black Dress that has been in mags everywhere? (We understand it’s a recession, but could it get any more ubiquitous?) With crazy tights of course. When patterned leggings first started cropping up on the young avant-garde, it was part of the print mishmash that has come to brand designers like Bernhard Willhelm and Henrik Vibskov. Who knew the trend would stick and that even Chanel would jump on the bandwagon? Ok, so Chanel’s two-tone tights are appropriately lady-like, but tights are the perfect remedy for those lack-of-shopping blues. With weights ranging from old-school nylons to winter wear leggings, the price says fun accessory rather than investment trouser. If designer legwear is still too luxurious, there’s always the trusty colorwheel, American Apparel.
