For Spring Summer 2010, young designer Kimberly Ovitz’s varied background – that includes apprenticeships at Chanel and a college degree from Brown for starters — translates into an edgy yet wearable collection of daytime separates and cocktail wear. There was a variety of hemlines (thankfully after so many micro minis this season) and also some column dresses that would be elegant on the right frame (the very tall and slim) but was nonetheless dramatic for it’s simple and clean aesthetic.
