Lady Gaga has become such the outrageous fashion phenomenon that we’re no longer surprised when she dons a fuzzy red monster-ish jacket and flaunts Dick Tracy yellow locks that are growing out a couple a inches to meet Giorgio Armani. You could say it was a meeting of designer and muse but however you describe it,  it’s been a long lasting partnership between the two when it comes to the stage. Armani designed the pop star’s latest round of costumes slated to debut in February 2011 for her Monster’s Ball global tour. “Her wardrobe will include a structured body with pronounced shoulders, totally embroidered with diamanté, a multi-coloured body in diamanté with ribbon-work creating a lobster-inspired effect on the front and sleeves, a mini dress cut geometrically with a mirror finish, and a long trench in black patent leather,” says the press release. The lobster reference strikes us of the surrealist movement; Salvador Dali had quite the obsession with them. No doubt he would have been pleased.
