There’s a nip in the air and the leaves are achanging. It’s that time again to pull down those winter sweaters. But rather than go with bulk, I’ve learned after several NYC winters that cashmere is the way to go. We’ve been particularly keen on Madeleine Thompson’s soft knits this season. The former Lane Crawford buyer knows a thing or two of what women want and offers updated cardigans, striped sweaters and jet-setter travel packs for the girl about town — Kate Moss, Aggy and Lily Donaldson are fans. After recently hitting stateside at Barneys, Otte NY and Scoop, get a jump on the warmth-seeking pack. We have a peek from Thompson’s Spring Summer 2010 collection (the seasons are seasonless anyways these days) modeled by her muse extraordinaire Poppy Delevigne.
