One of our favorite lookbooks each season is from cult fashion editor favorite Maison Michel. What with the Paris-based accessories line’s Chanel ties, the shots are predictably modeled by a bevy of fashion world insiders, such as Kate Moss in the not so distant past. For Spring 2011, the collection led by art director Laetitia Crahay is back again with it’s trademark bunny and cat ears, but there’s also an expanded assortment of toppers from jaunty cloches (on Irina Lazareanu), sculptural metal headbands (modeled by a sultry Leigh Lezark) and flowery hair pins and chapeaus in peony pink and coral (as seen on Abbey Lee Kershaw and Olivier Theyskens). Lou Doillon is back modeling for the collection too (while channeling mom Jane Birkin, natch) and brings along her already stylish son Marlowe. The who’s who list continues on with Mark Ronson, sans accessories, with pouty girlfriend Josephine de la Baume and a pair of gap-toothed beauties in Ashley Smith and Tanga Moreau. Stateside shoppers will be happy to find that several special editions have been designed for cool retailer Opening Ceremony. Oh and did we mention the shots were lensed by Karl Lagerfeld? Tête à tête mode just got a whole lot more chic.
