If a fashion show was judged on their front row, then Rag & Bone‘s Marcus Wainwright and David Neville would have been a fashion insider hit. Rachel Zoe, Jimmy Fallon, Lake Bell,  Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and her famed bobbed-ness Anna Wintour were all in attendance. The flashing bulbs had us blinded temporarily– not that we were in the spotlight or anything– but right, focus on the clothes. There was a Japanese influence with the longer length blazers and red pin-on boutonnières that gave a Yohji Yamamoto vibe. As with any good samurai warrior, all the girls wore topknots and many of the pieces had chainmail details or cut leanly from leather, which has become the clear favorite in the Fall/Winter “urban warrior” collections. All Japanese references aside, there was a lingering sex appeal afoot with very short skirts and relaxed suits that Freja Beha Erichsen practically floated down the runway in. The latter gave the show a much needed adult tone. Like their guest list, looks like Wainwright and Neville covered all their bases.
