Its Over

The end of Jon & Kate Plus 8 is upon us. After months of being tortured with hearing the  details of Jon’s love life and his fights with ex Kate, the show that made the couple famous – them raising their brood of 8 in a suburban Pennsylvania town – is coming to an end. On the final episode of last year’s season, the pair announced their split. Since then, Kate has hooked up with her bodyguard, while Jon has bedded a celebrity magazine reporter, college coeds and Kate’s plastic surgeon’s daughter. Follow? Bottom line, there has been no lack of drama, with Jon even posting a letter on his Pennsylvania property banning TLC Network from filming the show. Finally the show will end and a new version, starring only Kate and the kids, will be back on, with few appearances by Jon. The new show will focus on Kate’s new life as a single mom. “‘Kate Plus Eight’ is not in production,” TLC spokeswoman Laurie Goldberg said. “We are focusing on the launch of Kate’s new series in early spring.” Good riddance…
