Charlie Sheen isn’t leaving Two and a Half Men after all. The actor had threatened to walk, after demanding about $2 million an episode. But he has settled on a deal and will be coming back to the hit show next season. Charlie’s contract expired last month and some insiders said he was ready to say goodbye, especially amidst troubles with his wife Brooke Mueller and facing possible jail time for a domestic dispute in Aspen with her over Christmas. But Charlie finally settled the rumors for good, saying, “To put a fitting end on the two and one-half months of whirlwind speculation, I’m looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights.” He concluded by thanking Leslie Moonves, the CBS chief executive, for his support. But all is not well for the TV star. He may be headed to the slammer soon for pushing Brooke during their boozy brawl, and has even been requesting special privileges to smoke while locked up.
