Headed to The Slammer

Charlie Sheen is going to jail. The Two and a Half Men star will serve a sentence for his domestic violence charge against wife Brooke Mueller, after the two had a messy fight on Christmas Day in Aspen after a long night of drinking. ”Charlie intends to go to court on June 7 [to] plead to a misdemeanor and immediately begin serving his 30 days in jail,” says the source. “With good behavior, he could end up doing 15 or so days.”  While Sheen, 44, had been charged with felony menacing, misdemeanor third-degree assault and misdemeanor criminal mischief following the brawl with Brooke, 32, the source adds that Sheen will not be placed on probation once he completes his jail sentence. Meanwhile, the couple has been living apart, with Brooke caring for their young twin sons Bob and Max. Charlie and Brooke both went to rehab after the Christmas disaster, as both have a long history of substance abuse. Earlier this month, Charlie resigned his contarct to stay on the hit sitcom for two more years.
