Making It Up

Tom Cruise is one heck of a husband. Since he couldn’t be there for his wife’s 30th birthday party because his new movie Valkyrie was premiering in LA, he arranged a big surprise for her instead. After performing in All My Sons on Broadway, costar John Lithgow announced, “Tom Cruise, our good friend, devoted fan to the show, doting husband of Katie, could not be here tonight. He’s heartsick that he couldn’t be here. So he’s joining us, inviting all of you, to celebrate Katie’s birthday.” A five-tiered, white frosted cake was then brought out as the crowd cheered. Now that’s cute and all by why can’t a super A-lister like Tom Cruise force his film premiere to be rescheduled so he could celebrate a milestone birthday with his beloved? Maybe because THIS IS ALL A SHAM?

Magic Gone Awry

David Copperfield has some explaining to do. An employee of the magician suffered from a broken arm after one of the tricks during the An Intimate Evening of Grand Illusion show went wrong onstage. While assisting David during a “fan illusion”, the employee got his arm caught in the fan, which David walks through and disappears as he turns to smoke. “This is a trick David has done over 3000 times,” executive producer Chris Kenner says. “This was a freak accident.” No word yet on how many millions the employee will collect.

Moving On

Sorry girls ­ K-Fed is taken. Britney Spears rapper ex-hubby has got himself a new lady, 5′10″ volleyball star Victoria Prince. The new couple reportedly met while bowling together on a team called the Party Animals, which is currently in 2nd place in their local league. And while Kevin recently admitted that he’ll “always have a love for Britney” who is also the mother of his two sons, Jayden and Sean Preston, the love is now being shared.
