Somehow, John Mayer hasn’t dumped Jen Aniston yet. And the on-again couple even got close during dinner at LA’s Sunset Tower hotel on Monday (aka the ONLY place Jen ever goes) and were super-cute together! Just back from NYC, where they dined at hotspot La Esquina and partied at nearby Goldbar, the pair enjoyed a late-night meal by candlelight. They were very happy and goofy, a source says. And they weren’t the only A-listers in the house ­Nicole Richie and babydaddy Joel Madden were also getting their eat on. There was a lot of excited talk between the two girls, the source continues. Ah, the life of the rich and famous.

Note to Jennifer Love Hewitt ­ you need some new security. Sources reveal that a bunch of personal items were stolen from the Ghost Whisperer star’s trailer last week on the Universal Studios lot, while JHL filmed nearby. No word on whether her once-hot career was one of the things taken from the
star.
