MONTAUK RESTAURANT – NAVY BEACH

Even though its long been taboo to talk about a summer fun on a Monday morning, this time we couldn’t help ourselves. If waiting for a table behind cackling flocks of over-made-up girls, for some lunch and an adult beverage in the Hamptons isn’t your scene, we would like to offer an alternative. To the rescue, Montauk’s newest sensation, Navy Beach. Nestled in prime sunset location on 200 feet of pristine Montauk beach-front, Navy Beach offers a seafood centric menu and drinks to dazzle even the most particular connoisseur. Keeping with mantra “eat local” Chef Paul LaBue procures his produce and fish from local fishermen and farmers supporting the small organic producers and giving a fresh food options for his diners. Sprinkle a little NYC know-how from seasoned restaurantours Frank Davis and Franklin Ferguson and you have an amazing summer hot-spot.

For breakfast we suggest:

Homemade granola with yogurt and fresh fruit or for the gentlemen, Hangar Steak and Eggs with Roasted Potatoes.

Couple with two or three of Martin’s Bloody Bacon (homemade Bloody Mary mix with a bacon garnish).

For lunch we suggest:

Fresh Halibut Ceviche.

Homemade Lobster Roll’s from the local lobster market.

Or to-die-for Navy Burger (with Cabot Cheddar and bacon marmalade).

Couple with a pitcher of White Sangria (made with Leblon Cachaca, Saint Germain, White Wine, Hendrix Gin, White Cranberry, Lemons, White Grapes, Sage, Green Apples and Kiwi) or Manganera made with Tequila and muddled berries.
