James Chapman is obsessed with music, and that’s a good thing – his first release, We Can Create was short listed for the Mercury Awards. Two years later Chapman gathered his energy and released a much more mature new album aptly named Turning The Mind. Staying true to his talent for self-deprecation this new release is upliftingly melodic, melancholic as the first, but shows more power both emotionally and musically and brings you a sense of a brighter and lighter future for Maps. Have a listen for yourself!
