Noah and the Whale emerged on the scene with their first album, Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down last year and quickly grew a loyal following. It was no surprise that the Londoners’ music followed a similar formula for their second release The First Days of Spring, but took it a step further and added a movie to their love laced album narrative. Strong drums, acoustic guitars and a slew of unlikely instruments come together for delicious nu-folk harmonies. Combined with the movie (directed by lead singer Charlie Fink), their second release is truly a complete work. Download the great single “Blue Sky” from Noah and the Whale’s new album and watch the trailer below!
