One dude from the baguette-basket (France) and another dude from the breadbasket (Nebraska) make up Team Love’s The Berg Sans Nipple. BSN released Along the Quai in January of 2007 and luckily for us have a new one in the works to be released later on this year, also on Team Love Records.

I accidentally discovered Berg Sans when they opened for M83 in San Francisco and I was in attendance. The complex rhythms and drumming immediately caught my attention and then carried my interest throughout. Both band members contribute to the rhythmic feel, being as they’re both drummers, and the rest of the music is a blend of synthesizers, bells, machines and tons of other electronics.

This track “Mystic Song” which is available to download below, reminds me of being too young to care about anything and playing around on the play ground with my friends at recess… And what’s better than that?
